Next Realty’s Lincolnshire Commons welcomes Fat Rosie’s Taco and Tequila Bar

Fat Rosie’s Taco and Tequila Bar, the creation of veteran restaurant owner Scott Harris, has opened its fourth Chicago-area Mexican concept restaurant, leasing space at Lincolnshire Commons. This is the seventh restaurant currently operating at Lincolnshire Commons which is owned and managed by an affiliate of Next Realty, LLC.Jonathan Hyman of Metro Commercial represented Fat Rosie’s in the lease transaction. Next Realty was represented by Jaime Platt Bertsche, Angela Gasparro and April Smith, all of Mid-America Real Estate Group.Fat Rosie’s has recently completed a 6,850-square-foot build out of space at the center, located at 940 N. Milwaukee Avenue. The restaurant also features an expansive outdoor seating area allowing the establishment to offer more opportunities for socially distanced gatherings. Fat Rosie’s offers curbside pickup, indoor dine-in, patio dining and delivery.Lincolnshire Commons is a 133,000 square-foot, Class A retail complex anchored by a NorthShore University Health System clinic. The center also features a mix of upscale restaurants, fashion, and convenience-based retailers. In addition to Fat Rosie’s, the restaurants located at Lincolnshire Commons, include Cheesecake Factory, Flemings, Noodles & Co., Naf Naf Grill, Marigold Maison, and Chipotle.“We’re excited to welcome Fat Rosie’s to the roster of tenants and restaurants at Lincolnshire Commons,” said Amy Levin, director of leasing at Next Realty. “Fat Rosie’s, along with our other restaurants, have worked very hard to give the community a variety of socially responsible dining options during the pandemic.” Lincolnshire Commons is across from the new 444 Social luxury residential building with 300 units. The surrounding area features 14 fortune 500 companies including Walgreens Boots Alliance, Allstate, Mondelez International, CDW and Baxter International.
